Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. There are five of her siblings: two half-brothers and a half-sister, and two younger siblings. The parents named their daughter Miley in the hope to see her achieve a lot. Miley was her childhood nickname because of the jovial nature of Miley. Ron Cyrus was her grandfather. Cyrus started her schooling by Heritage Elementary School in Tennessee. When she was of eighteen, Cyrus and her family relocated from Tennessee to Toronto in Canada in Canada. There, Billy Ray, Cyrus's father, starred as Doc (2001) on TV. In the same year, Cyrus also decided to be an actor. The film Doc (2001), she was a part of the family with her father. Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003), in which she played an unimportant role and was a huge success, too. Cyrus played on Hannah Montana (2006) (a Disney show that follows a teenager woman who lives a double life singing) in the role of Hannah Montana, who is the protagonist. The show's director was her father was also in the show with her. The show went on to be an enormous success. Hit records, tours that were sold out and contracts for merchandise came later. Cyrus became famous as an early teen. Cyrus began to take on various roles in the wake of her success with Hannah Montana (2006). The roles included Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song, 2010) as well as Lola (in LOL (2012)) along with Demi Moor.
